Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the use and maintenance of your new replacement remote control for various Finlux TV models. This remote is designed as a full-function replica and requires no programming for immediate use with compatible Finlux televisions.

Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery cover downwards or in the direction indicated by an arrow to open it.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: This replacement remote control is designed to work out of the box with the specified Finlux TV models and does not require any additional programming or pairing steps.

Button Functions

  • Power Button (ن): Turns the TV on or off.
  • Number Buttons (0-9): Directly select channels or input numbers for menu options.
  • Volume Up (+V) / Volume Down (-V): Adjusts the sound volume.
  • Mute (🔇): Mutes or unmutes the TV sound.
  • Channel Up (+P) / Channel Down (-P): Changes the TV channel.
  • MENU: Opens the main menu of the TV.
  • Q.MENU: Opens the quick menu or context menu.
  • Navigation Buttons (▲ ◀ OK ► ▼): Navigate through menus and options. The OK button confirms selections.
  • BACK: Returns to the previous screen or menu.
  • EXIT: Exits the current menu or application.
  • Info (i): Displays information about the current program or input.
  • Source (📺): Selects the input source (HDMI, AV, etc.).
  • Text (📰): Accesses Teletext.
  • Subtitle (🔊): Toggles subtitles on or off.
  • Colored Buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue): Function-specific buttons, typically used within menus or interactive services. Their function varies depending on the TV's interface.
  • LANG.: Changes the audio language or subtitle language.
  • Media Control Buttons (◀◀ Play/Pause ►► Record ● Play ► Stop ■): Control media playback (e.g., for USB content or recorded programs).
    • ◀◀ (Rewind): Rewinds media.
    • ►► (Fast Forward): Fast forwards media.
    • ▮▮ (Play/Pause): Toggles between play and pause.
    • ● (Record): Starts recording.
    • ► (Play): Starts playback.
    • ■ (Stop): Stops playback.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA). Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Cleaning

To clean the remote control, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents. Avoid exposing the remote to excessive moisture.
