Operating: How to Play

The objective of Dragon's Breath the Hatching is to collect the most sparkling stones by the end of the game. Players take turns helping Dragon Mom melt the ice column to release the stones.

  1. Player's Turn: On your turn, you will choose one of the three ice rings to remove from the column.
  2. Melting the Ice: Carefully lift the chosen ice ring. Any sparkling stones that fall out of the column are collected by the player. Be cautious not to let the dragon egg fall!
  3. Collecting Stones: Place the collected sparkling stones onto your amulet cards. Each amulet card has specific color requirements for stones. Once an amulet card is filled with the correct colors, it is completed and contributes to your score.
  4. Drawing New Cards: After collecting stones, you may draw new amulet cards to replace those you completed, or to add to your hand, depending on the specific rules for drawing.

Game End and Scoring

The game concludes when all ice rings have been removed and all sparkling stones have been collected, or when the dragon egg falls from the nest (consult the full rulebook for specific end-game conditions).

Players then count the points on their completed amulet cards. The player with the highest total score wins the game.
