Setup
1. Charging the Headphones
Before first use, fully charge your Ananda-BT headphones. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the headphone and to a compatible USB power source. The charging process requires the headphones to be powered down. After plugging in, press and hold the power button for approximately two seconds to initiate charging. The LED indicator will show charging status.

2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the headphones are powered off.
- Press and hold the power button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "HIFIMAN Ananda-BT" from the list.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue.
3. Wired Connection (USB-C)
For the highest sound quality, connect your Ananda-BT headphones directly to a computer using the supplied USB-C cable. This connection supports up to 24bit/192kHz audio. The headphones will function as an external sound card.

4. Microphone Attachment
The Ananda-BT comes with a plug-and-play microphone. Insert the microphone's 3.5mm jack into the dedicated microphone port on the headphone (refer to Figure 6). Ensure it is securely seated.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button until the LED indicator lights up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the LED indicator turns off.
Audio Playback
Once connected via Bluetooth or USB-C, your headphones will automatically play audio from your device. Control playback (play/pause, skip tracks) directly from your source device. Note that the Ananda-BT headphones do not feature on-board volume controls; volume must be adjusted via the connected device.
Using the Microphone
When the microphone is attached and the headphones are connected to a device that supports microphone input (e.g., computer, smartphone), the microphone will be active for calls, voice chat, or recording. Ensure your device's audio settings are configured to use the Ananda-BT as the input and output device.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your HIFIMAN Ananda-BT headphones, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the headphones. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.
