4. Setup

Handle Assembly:

1. Unfold the handles and align the holes.
2. Secure the handles using the provided quick-release levers or bolts. Ensure they are firmly locked in place.

Grass Bagger Installation:

1. Lift the rear discharge flap.
2. Hook the grass bagger onto the mower's frame under the flap. Ensure it is securely seated.

Battery Charging and Installation:

1. Charge the 58V Max lithium-ion battery fully before first use. Charging time is approximately 90 minutes.
2. Open the battery compartment cover on the mower.
3. Slide the charged battery into the compartment until it clicks into place.
4. Insert the safety key into its slot.

5. Operating Instructions

Starting the Mower:

1. Ensure the battery is installed and the safety key is fully inserted.
2. Press and hold the safety button on the handle.
3. While holding the safety button, pull the control bar towards the handle. The motor will start.
4. Release the safety button, but continue holding the control bar to keep the mower running.

Adjusting Cutting Height:

The mower offers 6 cutting height positions, ranging from 1-inch to 3.25-inch.

1. Ensure the mower is turned off and the safety key is removed.
2. Locate the single height adjustment lever on the side of the mower.
3. Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired height setting.
4. Release the lever to lock it into position.

Mowing Tips:

• For best results, mow dry grass.
• Avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time.
• Overlap cutting paths slightly to ensure even coverage.
• Check the grass bag indicator regularly and empty the bag when full to maintain optimal performance.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your lawn mower.

Cleaning:

• After each use, remove the battery and safety key.
• Clean the cutting deck and underside of the mower to remove grass clippings and debris. Use a damp cloth; do not use water jets or harsh chemicals.
• Ensure the grass bag is emptied and cleaned as needed.

Blade Care:

• Periodically inspect the blade for sharpness and damage. A dull blade can tear grass, leading to an unhealthy lawn.
• If necessary, have the blade sharpened or replaced by a qualified service technician.

Storage:

• Remove the battery and safety key before storing.
• Clean the mower thoroughly.
• Utilize the vertical storage feature by folding the handles. This saves significant space.
