1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your TIGERKING Security Fingerprint Biometric Safe. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the safe to ensure proper function and security.

2. Safety Information

  • Always keep the emergency keys in a secure location outside the safe. Do not store them inside the safe.
  • Ensure the safe is placed on a stable, level surface or securely mounted to a wall or floor.
  • Do not expose the safe to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  • Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears to avoid being locked out.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all items are present in the package:

  • Emergency Keys (2)
  • Expansion Bolts (4) for mounting
  • User Manual
  • External Power Supply Box (for emergency power)

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Use & Battery Installation
  1. Locate the emergency keys provided in the plastic bag.
  2. Remove the emergency key cover (often marked with the TIGERKING logo) on the door.
  3. Insert an emergency key, gently press, and turn it clockwise to open the safe.
  4. Once the door is open, locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door. Insert four AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover.

4.2 Mounting the Safe

The safe features 4 pre-drilled holes on both the back and bottom for secure mounting to a wall, floor, or shelf. This enhances security by preventing unauthorized removal.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting.
  2. Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the safe's back or bottom.
  3. Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit.
  4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided expansion bolts.

5. Operating the Safe

5.1 Access Methods

Your TIGERKING safe offers three convenient ways to access your valuables:

  • Fingerprint + Turn Knob: Quick biometric access.
  • Password + Turn Knob: Digital keypad entry.
  • Emergency Key + Turn Knob: Manual override for emergencies or initial setup.

5.2 Setting/Changing Passwords

The digital keypad allows you to set a 3-8 digit password.

  1. With the safe door open, press the reset button located on the inside of the door (usually a small green button).
  2. Enter your desired 3-8 digit password on the keypad.
  3. Press the '#' key to confirm. The indicator light will confirm successful programming.
5.3 Registering Fingerprints

The biometric sensor can store up to 32 fingerprints for quick access.

  1. With the safe door open, press the reset button.
  2. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor. The light will indicate readiness.
  3. Lift and place your finger multiple times (as indicated by the safe's prompts) until the fingerprint is successfully registered.
  4. Repeat for additional fingerprints as needed.

5.4 Alarm System & Silent Mode

The safe is equipped with a dual alarm warning system for enhanced security.

  • Dual Alarm: Violent vibration or three incorrect entries will activate an audible alarm for 60 seconds. The alarm will stop once the correct code or fingerprint is entered.
  • Silent Mode: For situations where an audible alarm is undesirable, the safe can be set to silent mode. Refer to the specific instructions in the included user manual for activating silent mode.

6. Maintenance

  • Regularly check the battery level and replace batteries when necessary to ensure continuous operation.
  • Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and free of debris for optimal performance.
  • The interior features a removable shelf for flexible storage. This shelf can be removed or adjusted as needed.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Safe not opening with fingerprint/password: Ensure batteries are not low. Re-register fingerprints or reset the password if issues persist. Use the emergency key as a backup.
  • Alarm sounding unexpectedly: Check for violent vibrations or ensure no one has attempted three incorrect entries.
  • Lost keys/forgotten password: Always use the emergency key as a primary backup. For further assistance, contact customer support.
