Setup
Battery Installation
- Twist and remove the battery cap at the bottom of the tester.
- Insert two (2) 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Batteries are not included.
- Replace the battery cap by twisting it clockwise until secure.
The device features a battery deficiency indicator. If the batteries are low, replace them promptly to ensure accurate readings.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Press the green power button (⏻) to turn the tester on. The device will emit a short beep and the indicator lights may flash.
- To turn off, press and hold the power button until the device powers down. The tester will automatically shut down after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Non-contact AC Voltage Detection
- Ensure the tester is powered on.
- Place the tip of the tester near the object to be tested (e.g., terminal strip, outlet, supply cord).
- The tester will automatically detect AC voltage without physical contact.

Alarm Indications
The tester uses both acoustic (beeping) and visual (light) alarms to indicate detected voltage strength:
- High Voltage: Red light on with rapid beeping sound.
- Medium Voltage: Green light on with medium beeping sound.
- Low Voltage: Red light on with slow beeping sound.
Dual Measurement Range
The tester supports two AC voltage detection ranges:
- Standard Range: 48V ~ 1000V AC (default setting).
- Low Voltage Range: 12V ~ 1000V AC, for more sensitive measurements (e.g., doorbells, thermostats).
To switch between detection ranges, press the 'S' button (S) on the device. The indicator lights will change to confirm the selected range.
LED Flashlight Function
The built-in LED flashlight assists in working in dark environments:
- Press the flashlight button (💡) to turn the LED light on.
- Press the button again to turn the flashlight off.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the device, wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the casing or internal components.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the battery deficiency indicator activates or if the device fails to power on. Always use two new 1.5V AAA batteries.
Storage
Store the voltage tester in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on: Check if batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
- No voltage detection: Ensure the device is powered on. Verify that the tip of the tester is close enough to the AC voltage source.
- Inconsistent readings: Ensure the correct sensitivity range is selected for the application. Low battery power can also affect accuracy.
- Flashlight not working: Check battery charge.
