2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing

  1. Carefully remove the figures and accessories from the packaging. Avoid using sharp objects that could damage the figures.
  2. Inspect each figure for any visible damage or missing parts. If any issues are found, refer to the "Warranty and Support" section.
  3. Retain the packaging for future storage or reference, if desired.

2.2 Initial Inspection

Before handling, ensure your hands are clean and dry. Familiarize yourself with the joints and articulation points of each figure. The figures are designed with durable plastic, but excessive force can cause damage.

3. Operating Instructions: Transformation

Each Seeker figure (Ion Storm, Acid Storm, Nova Storm) shares a similar transformation sequence. Follow these steps carefully to convert between robot and jet modes. Refer to the images for visual guidance.

3.1 Robot Mode to Jet Mode

  1. Prepare the Figure: Ensure the figure is standing upright in robot mode. Detach any accessories (weapons) and set them aside.
  2. Fold Legs: Fold the robot's legs back and up, aligning them to form the rear section of the jet. Ensure the feet are tucked in.
  3. Rotate Waist/Torso: Rotate the waist or torso section to align the front of the jet.
  4. Position Arms: Fold the arms inward and tuck them against the body, ensuring they are compact and do not obstruct the jet's form. The hands should typically be folded into the forearms.
  5. Form Wings: Extend and position the wings from the back of the robot. Ensure they are fully extended and locked into place to form the jet's wings.
  6. Align Cockpit: Bring the cockpit section forward and secure it into place, forming the nose of the jet.
  7. Final Adjustments: Gently press all panels and sections together to ensure a compact and secure jet mode. Attach weapons to designated ports on the jet's underside or wings if desired.

3.2 Jet Mode to Robot Mode

  1. Prepare the Figure: Ensure the figure is in jet mode. Detach any accessories.
  2. Separate Cockpit/Nose: Unlatch and move the cockpit/nose section away from the main body.
  3. Unfold Wings: Carefully unclip and fold the wings back, allowing access to the robot's arms and torso.
  4. Extend Arms: Unfold the arms from their tucked position and extend them to their full robot mode length. Rotate hands if necessary.
  5. Unfold Legs: Separate and extend the folded leg sections to form the robot's legs. Rotate and position the feet as needed.
  6. Align Torso: Adjust the torso and waist sections to form the robot's upper body.
  7. Final Adjustments: Ensure all panels are aligned, and joints are securely tabbed into place. Attach weapons to the robot's hands or designated ports.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

  • To clean the figures, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away dust and debris.
  • For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth (water only) can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive water, as these can damage the paint and plastic.

4.2 Storage

  • Store figures in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, which can cause discoloration or warping.
  • Keep figures away from high humidity to prevent potential damage to materials.
  • If storing for extended periods, consider placing figures in their original packaging or in sealed containers to protect them from dust.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Stiff Joints

If a joint feels stiff, gently try to move it back and forth a few times. Do not force it. In some cases, a very small amount of silicone shock oil (not petroleum-based lubricants) can be applied to the joint, but this should be done with extreme caution and only if necessary.

5.2 Difficulty Transforming

Refer back to the transformation steps in Section 3. Ensure all tabs are unclipped and all parts are moved in the correct sequence. Sometimes, a part may be slightly misaligned, preventing the next step. Do not apply excessive force; re-examine the previous steps.

5.3 Loose Parts

If a part feels loose, check if it is meant to be detachable or if it can be re-secured by pressing it firmly into place. For persistent looseness in joints, contact customer support.
