3. Setup

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the toaster and all packaging materials from the box.
  2. Remove any protective films or stickers from the appliance.

Placement

First Use (Burn-Off Cycle)

Before toasting bread for consumption, perform a burn-off cycle to eliminate any manufacturing odors:

  1. Plug the toaster into a suitable power outlet.
  2. Set the browning level to 4 or 5.
  3. Lower the carriage lever without any bread in the slots.
  4. Allow the cycle to complete. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal.

4. Operating Instructions

Basic Toasting

  1. Place slices of bread into the toaster slots.
  2. Select your desired browning level using the '1-7' button. The digital display will show the selected level.

  4. Press the carriage lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin, and the digital display will show a countdown.
  5. Once the cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up.

Functions

The toaster features dedicated buttons for specific functions:

  • Stop Button: Press this button at any time to cancel the toasting cycle and eject the bread.
  • Defrost Function: Ideal for toasting frozen bread. Place frozen bread in the slots, select your browning level, lower the lever, then press the snowflake button. The toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time.

  • Reheat Function: To warm up already toasted bread without further browning. Place the toast in the slots, lower the lever, then press the wavy lines button.

Favorite Buttons

The toaster includes two favorite buttons to store and recall your preferred browning settings.

  1. To Save a Setting: Select your desired browning level. Press and hold one of the favorite buttons (heart icon) until it beeps or the display confirms.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Crumb Tray

The removable crumb tray collects crumbs and should be emptied regularly.

  1. Ensure the toaster is unplugged and completely cool.
  2. Pull out the crumb tray located at the bottom rear of the toaster.

  4. Discard the crumbs.

  6. Slide the crumb tray back into place until it clicks securely.
