4. Setup

4.1 Important Notes Before Installation:

• The camera requires a constant power supply and is not battery-powered. Ensure a power outlet is available near the installation location.
• "Wireless" refers to wireless/WiFi signals for video transmission, not power supply.
• Install the antenna tightly by screwing it to the bottom to ensure stable signal transmission.

4.2 Physical Installation:

1. Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location that provides the desired surveillance coverage and has access to a power source. Ensure the WiFi signal is strong in the chosen area.
2. Mount the Camera:
   • Use the provided screws and mounting template (if included) to securely attach the camera bracket to a wall or ceiling.
   • Ensure the camera is mounted firmly to prevent movement.
3. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the camera's power input and plug it into a power outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.
4. Install Antenna: Screw the antenna firmly onto the designated port on the camera.

4.3 Network Configuration (WiFi Connection):

1. Download the App: Download the recommended Jennov surveillance app (refer to the Quick Start Guide for the specific app name) from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Create an Account: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your new camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its ID.
4. Connect to WiFi:
   • The app will guide you through connecting the camera to your home WiFi network. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same 2.4GHz WiFi network you intend to use for the camera.
   • If you cannot find the camera's WiFi signal (e.g., "IPCAM-xxxxxx") during setup, press and hold the reset button on the camera for approximately 10 seconds to restore factory defaults, then try again.
5. Initial Setup: Once connected, you may be prompted to set a new password for the camera and configure basic settings.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Playback:

• Open the Jennov app on your smartphone, tablet, or PC.
• Select your camera from the device list to view the live feed.

5.2 Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) Control:
