1. Product Overview

The NICREW Single Channel LED Light Timer Pro is a digital dimmer designed to control 16-30VDC LED lights. It offers three operating modes, including ramp-up/dim-down functions, and supports up to six programmable time points for creating custom lighting cycles. The device features an internal memory to retain settings during power outages.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Compatibility

This timer is compatible with 16-30VDC LED lights only. It supports up to 4A (maximum 96 watts at 24VDC) and uses standard 2.5mm x 5.5mm or 2.1mm x 5.5mm barrel connectors. Please verify your LED lighting manufacturer's specifications for compatibility.

2.2 Connection

1. Connect your LED light to the male DC jack on the timer.
2. Connect your power transformer to the female DC plug on the timer.

2.3 First Time Setup / Reset

To reset the timer for the first time or after a power cycle, press the SET button (gear icon) and the POWER button (power icon) simultaneously. Hold them down for 3 seconds until the display resets.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Setting the Current Time

1. Press and hold the SET button (gear icon) for 3 seconds. The hour digits will begin to flash.
2. Press the HOUR + button to adjust the hour.
3. Press the MINUTE - button to adjust the minute.
4. Press SET again to confirm the time.

3.2 Choosing an Operating Mode (F1-F3)

The timer offers three modes:

• F1: Straight ON/OFF Mode - Simple on/off functionality without dimming.
• F2: Ramp Mode (15 minutes ramp/dim) - Gradual increase or decrease in light intensity over 15 minutes.
• F3: Ramp Mode (30 minutes ramp/dim) - Gradual increase or decrease in light intensity over 30 minutes.

To select a mode:

1. After setting the current time, press the SET button (gear icon) again. The display will show 'F1', 'F2', or 'F3'.
2. Use the HOUR + or MINUTE - buttons to cycle through the modes.
3. Press SET to confirm your selection.

3.3 Programming Time Points (L-01 to L-06)

The timer supports up to 6 separate programming time points (L-01 to L-06) to create custom dawn and dusk effects.

1. After selecting the operating mode, press SET. The display will briefly show 'L-01' and then flash '--:--'.
2. Press the POWER button (power icon) to activate the L-01 time point.
3. Use the HOUR + and MINUTE - buttons to set your desired time for L-01.
4. Press SET again to set the light intensity for L-01. The display will show 'L.000' (or similar, indicating intensity).
5. Use the HOUR + or MINUTE - buttons to set the desired light intensity (from 1% to 100%).
6. Press SET to move to the next time point (L-02). Repeat steps 2-5 for L-02, L-03, and L-04.
7. To skip L-05 and L-06, simply press SET repeatedly until the display returns to the current time.

3.4 Manual On/Off

To manually turn the light on or off, press the POWER button (power icon). When the light is manually turned off, the display will show 'OFF'.

3.5 Adjusting Light Intensity (Manual Mode Only)

When the light is manually turned on (display shows 'ON'), you can adjust its intensity:

1. Press the HOUR + or MINUTE - buttons to directly set the brightness level.
2. Press the SET button (gear icon) to exit the intensity setting and resume the normal lighting cycle.

• Display shows '8.8:8.8' or is unresponsive: This may indicate a need for a reset. Perform the First Time Setup / Reset procedure by pressing SET and POWER simultaneously for 3 seconds.
• Light not turning on/off or dimming as programmed: Verify that the correct operating mode (F1, F2, or F3) is selected and that all time points (L-01 to L-06) are programmed correctly. Ensure the timer is not in manual ON/OFF mode.
• Incompatibility with LED light: Confirm that your LED light operates within the 16-30VDC range and uses a standard 2.5mm or 2.1mm barrel connector. Use the provided DC plug adapters if necessary.
