4. Setup and Installation
Installation of the Estink Keyless Entry System requires basic automotive electrical knowledge. It is recommended to consult a professional if you are unsure about any steps. The system is designed for universal fitment, but specific wiring configurations may vary by vehicle model.
4.1. General Wiring Overview
The system includes a control box and a wiring harness. The control box acts as the central unit, receiving signals from the remote controllers and sending commands to your vehicle's door lock actuators and other connected systems.

4.2. Power and Ground Connections
Ensure the control box receives constant 12V power and a reliable ground connection. The red wire typically connects to a constant 12V power source (e.g., directly from the battery or a constant fuse), and the black wire connects to a chassis ground.

4.3. Door Lock Actuator Connections
Connect the appropriate wires from the system's harness to your vehicle's central door lock wiring. This typically involves identifying the lock and unlock signal wires in your vehicle. Refer to your vehicle's specific wiring diagram for accurate identification. The system supports both electronic and pneumatic door lock systems.
4.4. Additional Functions
The system can also be wired to control turning lights (for visual confirmation of lock/unlock), power windows, and remote trunk release. Consult the provided wiring diagram in the physical user manual for detailed connections for these functions.

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the Estink Keyless Entry System is simple to operate using the provided remote controllers.

Figure 5.1: Remote Controllers.
- Lock Button: Press the lock button (usually depicted with a closed padlock icon) on the remote controller to lock all vehicle doors. The vehicle's turning lights may flash once to confirm the action.
- Unlock Button: Press the unlock button (usually depicted with an open padlock icon) on the remote controller to unlock all vehicle doors. The vehicle's turning lights may flash twice to confirm the action.
- Remote Trunk Release: If wired, press and hold the trunk release button (if available on your remote) to open the vehicle's trunk.
- Car Finding Function: If wired, pressing a specific button (refer to your remote's specific layout) may cause the vehicle's lights to flash or horn to sound, helping you locate your car in a parking lot.
The remote control typically operates within a range of 50-80 meters (164-262 feet), depending on environmental conditions and vehicle interference.
6. Maintenance
The Estink Keyless Entry System is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. Consider the following:
- Remote Battery Replacement: If the remote's range decreases significantly or it stops responding, the battery may need replacement. Refer to the remote's design for battery access.
- Wiring Inspection: Periodically check the wiring connections for any signs of corrosion, fraying, or loose terminals, especially if the system experiences intermittent issues.
- Control Box Placement: Ensure the control box is securely mounted in a dry location, away from excessive heat, moisture, or direct vibration.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Keyless Entry System, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- System Not Responding:
- Check the remote controller battery.
- Ensure the control box is receiving power (check the fuse on the red power wire).
- Verify all wiring connections are secure and correctly installed according to the wiring diagram.
- Doors Not Locking/Unlocking:
- Confirm the lock/unlock signal wires are correctly connected to your vehicle's central locking system.
- Check for any mechanical obstructions in the door lock mechanisms.
- Reduced Remote Range:
- Replace the remote controller battery.
- Ensure there are no large metallic objects or electronic devices obstructing the signal path to the control box.
- System Malfunction after Installation: If the system does not function as expected immediately after installation, double-check all wiring against the provided schematic. Incorrect wiring is a common cause of issues.
If problems persist after attempting these steps, it is advisable to seek assistance from a qualified automotive electrician.
