Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your new lamp base:
- Unpack the Lamp Base: Carefully remove the lamp base from its packaging and place it on a clean, stable surface.
- Select a Bulb: Choose an E26 (medium) base bulb (not included) with a maximum wattage of 60W. For optimal performance and energy savings, an LED bulb is recommended.
- Install the Bulb: Ensure the lamp is unplugged. Gently screw the chosen bulb clockwise into the lamp socket until it is snug. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the socket or the bulb.
- Position the Lamp: Place the lamp base on a stable, flat, and dry surface indoors, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Connect to Power: Plug the lamp's power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the plug is fully inserted.

Operating Instructions
The Feit Electric CUBE1 lamp base features a convenient in-line mechanical on/off switch for simple operation.
- Turning On: Locate the mechanical switch on the power cord. Press the switch to the "ON" position to illuminate the bulb.
- Turning Off: Press the switch to the "OFF" position to turn off the bulb.

Maintenance
Proper care will ensure the longevity of your lamp base.
- Cleaning: Always unplug the lamp from the power outlet before cleaning. Wipe the lamp base with a soft, dry, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
- Bulb Replacement: Ensure the lamp is unplugged and the bulb has cooled completely before attempting to replace it. Screw out the old bulb counter-clockwise and screw in a new E26 base bulb (max 60W) clockwise.
