2.2 Control Panel
The control panel features a digital display and various buttons for operation.
- Digital Display: Shows time, cooking settings, and indicators.
- Number Pads (1-9, 0): Used to enter cooking time, weight, or select quick cook options.
- Power: Selects microwave power level.
- Timer/Clock: Sets the kitchen timer or the current time.
- +30 Sec.: Adds 30 seconds of cooking time at full power.
- Cook By Weight: Defrosts food based on weight.
- Speed Defrost: Defrosts food quickly based on time.
- Quick Cook Menus: Dedicated buttons for Potato, Popcorn, Pizza, Beverage, Frozen Dinner, Reheat.
- Reset/Cancel: Clears settings or stops cooking.
- Start/Stop: Starts or pauses cooking.
3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the microwave oven.
- Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate if damaged.
- Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it.
- Ensure there is adequate ventilation: leave at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space at the back, 8 inches (20 cm) at the top, and 2 inches (5 cm) on the sides. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- The microwave oven should be placed away from radio and TV to avoid interference.

3.2 Turntable Installation
- Place the turntable ring in the center of the oven cavity floor.
- Place the glass turntable onto the turntable ring, ensuring it sits securely on the center hub.
- Ensure the turntable rotates freely before use.
3.3 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a standard 3-prong grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the rating label on the oven.
- Do not use an extension cord. If necessary, consult a qualified electrician.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Setting the Clock
- Press the Timer/Clock button once. The display will show "00:00".
- Use the number pads to enter the current time (e.g., for 1:30, press 1, 3, 0).
- Press the Timer/Clock button again to confirm.
4.2 Microwave Cooking
To cook with microwave power:
- Place food in a microwave-safe container and place it on the glass turntable. Close the door.
- Press the Power button repeatedly to select the desired power level (P100 for 100%, P90 for 90%, etc., down to P10 for 10%).
- Use the number pads to enter the desired cooking time (e.g., for 2 minutes 30 seconds, press 2, 3, 0). The maximum cooking time is 99 minutes 99 seconds.
- Press Start/Stop to begin cooking.
Note: For quick cooking at 100% power, simply press the +30 Sec. button repeatedly to add time, then press Start/Stop. Each press adds 30 seconds.
4.3 One-Touch Quick Cook Menus
The microwave features pre-programmed settings for common food items:
- Potato: Press the Potato button. Press once for 1 potato, twice for 2, three times for 3.
- Popcorn: Press the Popcorn button. Press once for 1.75 oz, twice for 3.0 oz, three times for 3.5 oz.
- Pizza: Press the Pizza button. Press once for 4 oz, twice for 8 oz, three times for 14 oz.
- Beverage: Press the Beverage button. Press once for 1 cup, twice for 2 cups, three times for 3 cups.
- Frozen Dinner: Press the Frozen Dinner button. Press once for 6 oz, twice for 10 oz, three times for 12 oz.
- Reheat: Press the Reheat button. Press once for 8 oz, twice for 12 oz, three times for 16 oz.
After selecting the desired quantity, the oven will start automatically.
4.4 Defrosting
The microwave offers two defrosting methods:
- Cook By Weight Defrost:
- Press the Cook By Weight button.
- Enter the food's weight using the number pads (e.g., for 1.2 lbs, enter 1.2). The weight range is typically 0.1 to 6.0 lbs.
- Press Start/Stop to begin defrosting.
- Speed Defrost:
- Press the Speed Defrost button.
- Enter the desired defrosting time using the number pads.
- Press Start/Stop to begin defrosting.
4.5 Child Safety Lock
To activate the child safety lock:
- Press and hold the Reset/Cancel button for 3 seconds. A lock indicator will appear on the display.
- To deactivate, press and hold the Reset/Cancel button again for 3 seconds. The lock indicator will disappear.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your microwave oven.
5.1 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the finish.
5.2 Cleaning the Interior
- For light spills, wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth.
- For stubborn food residue, place a bowl of water with a few lemon slices inside the oven and heat for 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen the residue, making it easier to wipe clean.
- Ensure the interior is dry before closing the door.
5.3 Turntable and Roller Ring
- The glass turntable and roller ring can be removed for cleaning.
- Wash them in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher.
- Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
