Setup and Installation
- Compatibility Check: Before installation, ensure that the purchased RX42 receiver and remote control have the same appearance and model number (WEELYE RX42 12V 7-pin single-sided socket) as your original parts. Verify that other functions of your ride-on car, such as motors and batteries, are working correctly.
- Receiver Installation:
Carefully remove the old receiver control box from the ride-on car. Connect the new weelye RX42 12V receiver to the vehicle's wiring harness, ensuring the 7-pin single-sided socket is correctly aligned and securely connected. Mount the receiver in its designated location within the car.
- Remote Control Battery Installation:
The remote control requires two AAA 1.5V batteries. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control. Insert the batteries according to the polarity markings (+/-) inside the compartment. Replace the cover and secure it with the screw.
- Pairing the Remote Control:
For the first-time use, the remote control needs to be paired with the receiver. Follow these steps:
- Turn off the ride-on car.
- Press and hold the "S" (Speed) button on the remote control for 2-4 seconds. The low-speed indicator light on the remote will begin to flash.
- While the low-speed light is flashing, turn on the ride-on car.
- The low-speed indicator light on the remote control will change from flashing to solid, indicating successful pairing. If pairing fails, repeat steps 1-3.
- If the remote control is inactive for 10 seconds, it will enter power-saving mode.
