2. Setup
2.1 Setting the Time
- Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch case) out to the furthest position.
- Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position to start the watch movement.
2.2 Adjusting the Strap
The watch features a slip-thru fabric strap that can be easily adjusted to fit various wrist sizes. The strap is designed to pass underneath the watch case, allowing for a comfortable and secure fit. To adjust, simply slide the strap through the buckle and loops until the desired fit is achieved.

3. Operating the Watch
3.1 Indiglo Night-Light
Your Timex Weekender watch is equipped with the Indiglo night-light feature. To activate the Indiglo backlight, simply press and hold the crown (the same knob used for setting the time). The entire dial will illuminate, allowing you to read the time in low-light or dark conditions.

3.2 Water Resistance
The watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This means it is suitable for splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not recommended for swimming, bathing, or diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning Your Watch
- Case: Wipe the watch case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Strap: The fabric strap can be gently hand-washed with mild soap and water. Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching to the watch.
4.2 Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance. Attempting to replace the battery yourself may void the warranty.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Watch Not Running
- Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it is pulled out, the watch will not run.
- If the watch still does not run, the battery may need to be replaced. Refer to section 4.2.
5.2 Indiglo Not Working
- Confirm that you are pressing and holding the crown firmly.
- A weak or depleted battery can affect the Indiglo function. Consider battery replacement.
