The Evernary Door Window Alarm is designed for easy, tool-free installation using double-sided adhesive tape.

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Alarm: Pull out the insulating sheet from the battery compartment (if present) and ensure the device is in the OFF position using the side switch.
  2. Clean the Surface: Thoroughly clean and dry the surface where the alarm will be mounted. This ensures strong adhesion.
  3. Apply Tape: Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and firmly attach it to the back of both the main alarm unit and the magnetic sensor unit.
  4. Mount the Alarm: Peel off the other side of the tape and attach the main alarm unit to the door frame or window frame.
  5. Mount the Sensor: Attach the magnetic sensor unit to the door or window itself, aligning it with the main alarm unit. Ensure the two parts are no more than 0.59 inches (15mm) apart when the door/window is closed. The alarm will trigger if the distance exceeds this.
