1. Product Overview
Electriduct Rubber Grommets are designed to protect wires and cables from rough and sharp edges. Made from durable SBR rubber with a 60 durometer hardness, these grommets offer excellent abrasion and tear resistance. They are flexible, easy to install, and can withstand temperatures up to 180°F (82°C). This package contains 50 grommets of the specified size.

2. Setup
Before installation, ensure the mounting hole is clean and free of debris. Select the appropriate grommet size to match the hole diameter and the cable or wire bundle to be protected. The grommet should fit snugly into the opening to provide optimal protection. Verify that the panel thickness is compatible with the grommet's groove width.
3. Installation
To install the grommet, gently press it into the pre-drilled hole. The groove of the grommet should align with the edge of the panel. Once seated, carefully route your wires or cables through the inner diameter of the grommet. Ensure no sharp edges are exposed to the wires. The flexible rubber material allows for easy insertion and a secure fit.

4. Maintenance
Electriduct rubber grommets require minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect installed grommets for any signs of wear, cracking, or damage, especially in environments with extreme temperatures or chemical exposure. Replace any damaged grommets to maintain protection for your wiring and ensure continued safety.
5. Troubleshooting
- Grommet does not fit the hole: Verify the groove diameter (C) of the grommet matches the diameter of your mounting hole. If the grommet is too small, it will fall out; if too large, it will not seat properly.
- Wires are difficult to pass through: Ensure the inside diameter (A) of the grommet is sufficient for your wire bundle. Avoid forcing wires through, as this can damage both the wires and the grommet.
- Grommet appears loose: Re-check the groove width (B) and overall thickness (E) to ensure compatibility with your panel thickness. A proper fit should be snug.
