Setup
Powering the Radio
The GRT16 radio can be powered by either AC power or 4 D-cell batteries.
- AC Power: Connect the included power cord to the AC charging port on the side of the radio and plug it into a standard 110V wall outlet.
- Battery Operation: For portable use, open the battery compartment on the back of the radio and insert four D-cell batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
Antenna

Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off and Volume Control
Rotate the VOLUME knob clockwise to turn the radio on and increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and turn off the radio.
Tuning Stations
Use the RADIO switch to select between AM and FM bands. Rotate the TUNING knob on the side of the radio to scan for stations. The frequency scale on the front panel will indicate the current station.
Tone Control
