Setup

Charging the Speaker

  1. Locate the charging port on the side of the speaker, usually protected by a rubber flap.
  2. Connect the small end of the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  3. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate, typically red, to show that the speaker is charging.
  5. Charging time is approximately 10 hours for a full charge. The indicator light will change or turn off when charging is complete.

Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button () for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see the indicator light turn on.

Operating Instructions

Controls Overview

  • Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off.
  • Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume.
  • Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume.
  • Play/Pause (•): Short press to play or pause music.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Button ((•)): Press and hold to enter pairing mode. Short press to connect/disconnect.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the BoomBar 50 is powered on and within 10 meters of your Bluetooth device.
  2. The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode upon first power-on, indicated by a flashing blue LED. If not, press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button ((•)) until the LED flashes.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  4. Select "KS BoomBar 50" from the list.
  5. Once paired, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

Stereo Pairing (True Wireless Stereo - TWS)

To achieve a wider soundstage, you can pair two BoomBar 50 speakers together:

  1. Ensure both BoomBar 50 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be your primary speaker), press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button ((•)) until it enters pairing mode.
  3. On the second speaker, quickly double-press the Bluetooth pairing button ((•)). It will search for the primary speaker.
  4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the primary speaker's LED will flash, while the secondary speaker's LED will be solid.
  5. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

AUX Connection

For devices without Bluetooth, use the 3.5mm AUX input:

  1. Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX input port on the BoomBar 50 (under the rubber flap).
  2. Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your device.
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Resistance: The BoomBar 50 is IP67 rated. Ensure the rubber flap covering the charging and AUX ports is securely closed to maintain water and dust resistance. Do not submerge the speaker for extended periods or beyond specified depths.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the speaker frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for long periods.

Troubleshooting
