1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the VINABTY VXX3048 replacement remote control. This remote is designed to be compatible with Pioneer DVD Recorders models DVR-433H-K and DVR-433H-S, offering full functionality for your device.

The remote control is pre-programmed and does not require any additional setup or coding. Simply install the batteries to begin operation.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open the compartment.

3.1 Power and Input Control

  • STANDBY/ON: Powers the DVD Recorder on or off (standby mode).
  • HDD/DVD: Switches between Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and DVD modes.
  • TV/DVD: Toggles control between the TV and the DVD Recorder.

  • Playback Buttons (Play, Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind, Skip Forward, Skip Back): Standard media playback controls.
  • REC MODE: Selects recording quality modes.
  • BACK CM SKIP: Skips back during playback (e.g., commercial skip).
  • STOP REC: Stops the current recording.
  • REC: Initiates recording.
  • SHIFT: Used in combination with other buttons for secondary functions (refer to your DVD Recorder's manual for specific combinations).
  • ONE TOUCH COPY: Initiates a one-touch copy function.
  • TV DIRECT REC: Initiates direct recording from the TV input.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops functioning. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

4.2 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

4.3 Storage
