2. Setup Instructions

Connecting the Controller

Place the electric blanket flat on your bed. Locate the connector on the blanket and the corresponding plug on the controller cord. Firmly push the controller plug into the blanket connector until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent malfunction.

Route the power cord from the controller to a nearby electrical outlet. The 12.5ft long power cord provides ample length for convenient placement. For dual control models (Queen, King, California King), repeat this process for the second controller.

For Queen, King, and California King sizes, dual controllers are provided, allowing individual heat settings for each side of the bed.

Pre-Heat Function

Activate the pre-heat function to quickly warm your bed before use. Refer to your controller's specific buttons for this feature.

Auto Shut-Off

The blanket includes an auto shut-off feature with 1-10 hour time modes for safety and energy efficiency. Set the desired operating duration using the controller. The blanket will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.

Washing Instructions

To clean your electric blanket, first disconnect the controller(s) and power cables from the blanket. Place the blanket in a washing machine.

  • Use cold or lukewarm water only.
  • Select a slow agitation cycle.
  • Use an all-purpose cleaning detergent. Do not use bleach or other harsh fluids.

After washing, move the blanket to the dryer on low heat or allow it to air dry completely. The blanket is tested to stay soft and plush after multiple washes.

5. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Blanket Not Heating: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the blanket and a functional electrical outlet. Check if the controller is powered on and a heat setting is selected.
  • Error Codes on Controller: If an error code appears on the LCD display, try unplugging the blanket from the wall outlet for a few minutes, then plug it back in. If the error persists, contact customer support.
  • Uneven Heating or Cold Spots: Ensure the blanket is spread flat on the bed without excessive folds or bunching, which can interfere with heat distribution.
  • Blanket Sliding Off Bed: While designed for comfort, ensure the blanket is properly positioned under your top sheet or comforter to minimize movement during sleep.
