Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your SRT82 DVB-T2 HDMI Stick:

  1. Connect to TV:

    Insert the SRT82 HDMI Stick directly into an available HDMI port on your television. If space is limited, use the provided HDMI Adapter Cable for easier connection.

  2. Power Connection:

    Connect the Micro USB Power Cable to the Micro USB port on the SRT82. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB port on your TV for power. If your TV does not have a USB port, use a standard 5V/500mA (minimum) USB power adapter (not included).

  3. Antenna Connection:

    Connect your terrestrial antenna cable to the ANT IN port on the SRT82. Use the provided SMA/IEC Adapter if necessary.

  4. IR Extender Connection:

    Plug the IR Extender Cable into the IR port on the SRT82. Position the IR receiver end of the cable in a location where it has a clear line of sight to your remote control, typically near the front of your TV.

  5. Initial Scan:

    Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input source. Follow the on-screen instructions to perform an automatic channel scan. This will detect and store all available DVB-T2 channels in your area.

Operating Instructions

The SRT82 offers various functions for an enhanced viewing experience:

  • Channel Navigation: Use the CH+/- buttons on the remote control to change channels. Use the number buttons to directly input a channel number.
  • Electronic Programme Guide (EPG): Press the EPG button to view the program schedule for upcoming broadcasts.
  • USB Recording: Connect a USB storage device (e.g., flash drive or external hard drive) to the USB port on the SRT82. You can record live TV programs by pressing the REC button. The device supports 8 programming ranges and can be set to record once, daily, or weekly.
  • Timeshift Function: With a connected USB storage device, press the Timeshift button to pause live TV. You can then resume playback or fast-forward/rewind within the buffered content.
  • Favourite Lists: Create and manage custom lists of your preferred channels for quick access. Refer to the on-screen menu for detailed instructions on setting up favourite lists.
  • Media Playback: The USB port also allows playback of media files (photos, videos) stored on a connected USB device. Access this function through the main menu.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SRT82 HDMI Stick, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the surface or internal components.
