5. Setup

5.1. Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your Portronics Dynamo speaker. Connect the provided Micro USB charging cable to the speaker's Micro USB port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

5.2. Power On/Off

  • To power ON: Press and hold the Power/Mode button until you hear an audible prompt.
  • To power OFF: Press and hold the Power/Mode button again until you hear an audible prompt.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED). If not, short press the Power/Mode button to switch modes.
  2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Portronics Dynamo" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will indicate a successful connection, and the LED will stop flashing.
  5. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.

6.2. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

To experience enhanced stereo sound, you can pair two Portronics Dynamo speakers together using the TWS function.

  1. Ensure both Dynamo speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired with any device.
  2. On one of the speakers, press and hold the Play/Pause button for a few seconds until you hear a pairing tone. This speaker will become the primary unit.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 6.1. Both speakers will play audio simultaneously, providing a stereo experience.

6.3. USB Music Playback

Insert a USB pen drive containing MP3 audio files into the speaker's USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing music. Use the Volume/Track control buttons to manage playback.

6.4. FM Radio

To use the FM radio function:

  1. Short press the Power/Mode button until you hear the FM radio prompt.
  2. Press the Play/Pause button once to auto-scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Use the Volume/Track control buttons to switch between saved stations.

6.5. Hands-Free Calling

When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls.

  • To answer an incoming call: Short press the Play/Pause button.
  • To end a call: Short press the Play/Pause button during a call.
  • To reject an incoming call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button.

7. Charging

To charge the speaker, connect the Micro USB cable to the speaker's charging port and a compatible USB power source. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 10 hours of playtime.

8. Care and Maintenance

  • Keep the speaker away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and moisture.
  • Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
  • Ensure the port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

9. Troubleshooting
