3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the Makita DC10SB charger from its packaging.
  • Inspect the charger for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping. If any damage is found, do not use the charger and contact your supplier.

3.2 Placement

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Charging a Battery

  1. Ensure the charger is plugged into a power outlet.
  2. Slide a compatible Makita 12V Max Li-ion battery into the charger's battery slot. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. The charger will automatically begin the charging process.

4.2 Charging Indicators

The DC10SB charger features indicator lights to communicate the battery's charging status:

  • Solid Red Light: Battery is charging.
  • Solid Green Light: Charging is complete.

4.3 Removing a Charged Battery

Once the green light indicates charging is complete, gently slide the battery out of the charger slot. The battery is now ready for use.
