Despite being marketed as an 'outdoor spot' in some descriptions, its IP20 rating makes it unsuitable for direct exposure to rain, splashes, or high humidity. It is intended for dry indoor environments or very well-protected outdoor areas where it will not be exposed to moisture.
- Heat: Do not touch the bulb or surrounding parts immediately after operation as they may be hot. Allow the fixture to cool before handling.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation. If you are unsure about any part of the installation, consult a qualified electrician.
- Prepare for Installation:
- Turn off power at the main circuit breaker.
- Unpack the fixture and all components. Inspect for any damage.
- Determine Mounting Location: Choose a suitable location on a ceiling or wall, ensuring it is a dry area not exposed to moisture, consistent with the IP20 rating.
- Mark Drilling Points: Hold the mounting base of the fixture against the desired surface and mark the positions for drilling.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked positions. Insert wall anchors if necessary.
- Wire the Fixture: Connect the electrical wires from your power supply to the fixture's terminals. Ensure correct polarity (Live to Live, Neutral to Neutral, Ground to Ground). Secure all connections firmly.
- Mount the Fixture: Secure the fixture's mounting base to the surface using the provided screws.
- Install Bulb: Insert the appropriate bulb (not included, 10 watt max) into the socket.
- Adjust Direction: The spot light head can be adjusted to direct light as desired.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
