3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
The Nerf Fortnite SMG-E Blaster requires 4 AA batteries (not included) for its motorized dart blasting function. To install batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the blaster.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 fresh AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
3.2. Loading Darts

- Insert the 6 Official Elite Darts into the clip, pushing them in until they click into place.
- Align the loaded clip with the clip well on the underside of the blaster.
- Push the clip firmly into the blaster until it locks securely.

4. Operating the Blaster
To operate your Nerf Fortnite SMG-E Blaster:
- Hold the blaster firmly.
- Press and hold the acceleration button (throttle button) to power up the motor. You will hear the motor whirring.
- While holding the acceleration button, press the trigger to fire a dart.
- Release the trigger to stop firing. Release the acceleration button to power down the motor.
