1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your Samsung CRG9 Series 49-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor. 2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Assembly
Carefully remove the monitor and all components from the packaging. Place the monitor face down on a soft, clean cloth to prevent scratches. Attach the stand neck to the monitor, then secure the stand base to the neck using the provided screws. Ensure all connections are firm.

2.2 Connecting Cables
Connect the power cable to the monitor and a power outlet. Use a DisplayPort or HDMI cable to connect the monitor to your computer's graphics card. For optimal performance, DisplayPort is recommended to achieve the full 5120x1440 resolution at 120Hz. Connect USB devices to the monitor's USB hub if desired.

2.3 Initial Power-On
Press the power button located on the bottom right of the monitor. The monitor will power on and attempt to detect an input signal. Ensure your computer is also powered on.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the monitor, press the joystick button on the bottom right. To power off, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds until the monitor turns off.
3.2 Navigating the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The joystick button also serves as the OSD navigation control. Press the joystick to open the OSD menu. Move the joystick up, down, left, or right to navigate through menu options. Press the joystick again to select an option or confirm a setting.
3.3 Adjusting Display Settings
- Brightness/Contrast: Adjust these settings in the OSD menu to suit your viewing environment.
- Color Settings: Modify color temperature, gamma, and saturation for desired color accuracy.
- Refresh Rate: The monitor supports a 120Hz refresh rate. You can switch to 60Hz via the OSD menu or your computer's display settings if needed.
- HDR1000: This feature automatically enhances contrast and color for compatible content. Ensure HDR is enabled in your operating system settings for supported applications.
- FreeSync2: For compatible AMD graphics cards, FreeSync2 provides tear-free and stutter-free gaming. Enable FreeSync in the OSD menu and your graphics card software.
3.4 Multi-Source Display (PBP/PIP)
The monitor supports Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) modes, allowing you to display content from two different input sources simultaneously. Access these options through the OSD menu to configure the layout and source inputs.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Monitor
To clean the screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or direct spraying onto the screen. For the exterior, use a soft, dry cloth.
4.2 Safety Precautions
- Do not block ventilation openings.
- Keep the monitor away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
- Avoid placing heavy objects on the power cord.
- Disconnect the power cord during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
5. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and a working power outlet. Check if the power indicator light is on.
- No Signal: Verify that the video cable (DisplayPort or HDMI) is correctly connected to both the monitor and your computer. Ensure the correct input source is selected in the monitor's OSD menu.
- Image Flickering or Distortion: Check the video cable for damage or loose connections. Try a different cable or input port. Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Adjust the refresh rate in your computer's display settings.
- Incorrect Colors: Reset the monitor's color settings to factory defaults via the OSD menu. Calibrate your display using your operating system's tools or specialized software.
