Maintenance
Proper care will ensure the longevity and performance of your G-Shock watch.
- Water Resistance (200M): Your watch is water-resistant to 200 meters. This means it is suitable for showering, swimming, and shallow diving. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the seals.
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild neutral detergent, then wipe dry. Avoid harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Battery: The watch uses a Lithium Metal battery (CR1220). Battery life is approximately 2 years. When the display becomes dim or functions become unstable, it is time to replace the battery. We recommend having battery replacement performed by an authorized Casio service center to ensure water resistance is maintained.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for extended periods.
