Setup
Before first use, ensure the hair dryer is clean and free from any packaging materials. Plug the hair dryer into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure your hands are dry before plugging in or unplugging the appliance.
Attaching Accessories
The hair dryer comes with various attachments to enhance your styling experience:
- Concentrator Nozzle: To attach, simply press the concentrator into the air outlet until it snaps into place. This attachment focuses airflow for precise styling and smoothing.
- Detangler Combs: These combs attach similarly to the concentrator and are designed to help straighten and detangle hair while drying.
- Full Size Diffuser: Attach by aligning it with the air outlet and pressing firmly. The diffuser is ideal for enhancing natural curls and waves, distributing air gently to prevent frizz.
To remove any attachment, allow the dryer and attachment to cool, and then gently pull it away from the dryer.
Operating Instructions
- Gently towel dry hair to remove excess water.
- Set dryer to desired heat and speed setting. For initial drying, you may use a higher setting. With head forward, flip hair and dry the under layers first.
- Do not concentrate airflow on any one area for an extended period of time to prevent heat damage.
- When hair is almost dry, lower heat and speed setting and begin to style hair as desired using appropriate attachments.
- Once you've achieved the desired style, adjust temperature to the cold setting by pressing the cool shot button to set the style with a burst of cool air. Release the button to return to hot air styling.
- When drying is complete, wait for the appliance to cool before storing. Do not wrap the cord tightly around the dryer. Use the practical hanging ring for storage. This helps prevent the cord from tangling and wearing prematurely.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your hair dryer.
Cleaning the Removable Filter
The hair dryer features a removable filter cap to prevent lint and hair build-up, which can affect performance and motor life. It is recommended to clean the filter regularly.
- Ensure the hair dryer is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
- Gently twist or pull off the removable filter cap located at the rear of the dryer.
- Use a soft brush or a dry cloth to remove any accumulated lint, dust, or hair from the filter screen.
- If necessary, the filter can be rinsed under water, but ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.
- Snap or twist the filter cap back into place securely.
