2. Safety Information

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
  2. Fill the tank with clean, cool water up to the 'MAX' fill line. Do not overfill.
  3. Carefully slide the water tank back into the unit until it is securely in place.

4.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the 'POWER' button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Fan Speed Selection

The unit offers four fan speeds. Press the 'SPEED' button repeatedly to cycle through Low, Medium, High, and Turbo (or corresponding settings) fan speeds.

5.3 Oscillation Function

Press the 'OSC' button to activate the oscillation feature, which allows the unit to swing horizontally, distributing air across a wider area. Press again to stop oscillation.

5.4 Cooling/Humidification Mode

To activate the evaporative cooling and humidification function, ensure the water tank is filled. Press the 'COOL' or 'HUMIDIFY' button (button name may vary) on the control panel or remote. The unit will begin to draw water from the tank to cool and humidify the air.

5.5 Timer Function

Use the 'TIMER' button to set the unit to automatically turn off after a specified period. Refer to the control panel markings for available timer intervals.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your unit.

6.1 Cleaning the Water Tank

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Clean the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting.
  5. Clean the water tank at least once a week, or more frequently if used continuously.

6.2 Cleaning Cooling Pads (Evaporative Media)

The cooling pads should be cleaned periodically to prevent mineral buildup and maintain efficiency.

  2. Access the cooling pads (refer to the product diagram or manufacturer's specific instructions for removal).
  3. Rinse the pads under clean running water to remove dust and mineral deposits. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. Allow the pads to air dry completely before reinstalling.
  5. Replace cooling pads if they show signs of significant wear or damage.

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
