Setup and Installation
The Herdio HOS-501W speakers feature versatile swivel brackets for easy placement and a speed-lock mounting system for secure installation. These speakers require an external amplifier (not included) for operation.
Speaker Wiring
Connect the speaker cables to the speaker terminals. The red wire connects to the positive (+) terminal, and the black wire connects to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a secure connection. These speakers are passive and require an amplifier to function. Connect the other end of the speaker cables to your amplifier's speaker outputs, matching positive to positive and negative to negative. Finally, plug your amplifier into a power supply.

Mounting the Speakers
- Remove the Bracket: Turn the knob on the side of the speaker to detach the mounting bracket.
- Fix the Bracket: Securely fix the bracket to your desired wall or ceiling location using appropriate nails or screws (not included). Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the speaker's weight.
- Attach the Speaker: Place the speaker onto the fixed bracket and tighten the knob to secure it. The swivel brackets allow for a 120-degree range of motion, and the front face can rotate up to 90 degrees, enabling optimal sound direction.
