- Dust Cover
- Como Audio Slipmat

4.2 Assembly
The Como Audio Turntable is designed for easy "Plug n Play" setup, with the Ortofon OM10 cartridge pre-mounted and no anti-skate or counterweight adjustments required.
- Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive vibration.
- Carefully place the large steel platter onto the spindle. Ensure it sits flush.
- If the drive belt is not pre-installed, gently stretch the belt around the sub-platter and the motor pulley.
- Place the Como Audio slipmat on top of the platter.
- Attach the removable dust cover by aligning its hinges with the slots on the back of the turntable.
4.3 Connections
Your turntable offers multiple ways to connect to your audio system:
- Bluetooth: For wireless connection to Como Audio systems, Bluetooth headphones, or Bluetooth speakers. Ensure the Bluetooth transmitter switch on the turntable is ON. Pair the turntable with your desired Bluetooth device. The turntable can transmit up to 10 meters.
- Phono Pre-amp Output: Use the included audio cable to connect the turntable's PHONO OUT to a dedicated magnetic phono input on your amplifier or receiver. This utilizes the turntable's built-in phono stage.
- Line Level Output: Connect the turntable's LINE OUT to an auxiliary (AUX) input on your amplifier, powered speakers, or Como Audio system. This bypasses the turntable's internal phono pre-amp, useful if your amplifier has its own phono stage.
Connect the universal power supply to the turntable's power input and then to a wall outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Playing a Record
- Place a record on the slipmat, ensuring it is centered on the spindle.
- Select the correct speed (33 or 45 RPM) using the anodized aluminum speed knob.
- Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
- Position the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
- Slowly lower the cueing lever to allow the stylus to descend onto the record. The music will begin to play.
- To stop playback, lift the tonearm using the cueing lever and return it to the tonearm rest.
5.2 Bluetooth Operation
To use the Bluetooth feature, ensure the Bluetooth transmitter switch on the turntable is in the ON position. The turntable will automatically enter pairing mode. On your receiving Bluetooth device (e.g., Como Audio system, headphones, speaker), search for and select the Como Audio Turntable. Once paired, audio from your records will stream wirelessly. Remember to switch off the Bluetooth transmitter when not in use to conserve power.
5.3 Speed Selection
The turntable supports two standard playback speeds: 33 1/3 RPM for LPs and 45 RPM for singles. Use the speed knob to switch between these. For 78 RPM records, an optional belt and stylus are required (not included). Consult Como Audio support for compatible accessories.
6. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning the Turntable: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the turntable. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dust Cover: Keep the dust cover closed when the turntable is not in use to protect it from dust and debris. Clean the dust cover with a soft, damp cloth.
- Stylus Care: Periodically clean the stylus using a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing gently from back to front. Avoid touching the stylus with your fingers. A worn or dirty stylus can damage your records and degrade sound quality.
- Record Care: Always handle records by their edges. Store them vertically in their sleeves to prevent warping. Clean records regularly with a record brush or cleaning solution.
