4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your Tribit StormBox Micro speaker. Use the provided USB-C cable to connect the speaker to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

• The LED indicator will show charging status.
• A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.
• Once fully charged, the LED indicator will change or turn off.

4.2 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
• To power off, press and hold the power button again for 2 seconds.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

The Tribit StormBox Micro will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on for the first time or if no device is connected.

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the Bluetooth indicator light is flashing blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Tribit StormBox Micro" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will turn solid blue.
5. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if within range.

5.2 XBass Mode

The XBass feature enhances the low-frequency sound for a richer bass experience.

• To activate XBass, press the XBass button (usually located near the volume controls).
• Press it again to deactivate XBass.

5.3 Wireless Stereo Pairing (Tribit Connect)

You can pair two Tribit StormBox Micro speakers together to create a stereo sound system.

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until you hear a prompt.
3. On the second speaker, press the Bluetooth button once.
4. The speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the primary speaker's Bluetooth indicator will flash blue, and the secondary speaker's will be solid blue.
5. Connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth.

6. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Waterproof Care: While the speaker is IP67 waterproof, ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing it to water. After exposure to water, especially saltwater or chlorinated water, rinse the speaker with fresh water and allow it to air dry completely before charging.
• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
• Battery Life: To preserve battery life, fully charge the speaker at least once every 3 months if not in regular use.
