- Power Source: Connect the unit only to an AC 230V, 50Hz power outlet.

Setup
1. Placement
Place the main unit and speakers on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is enough space for ventilation and access to controls and connections.

2. Connecting the Speakers
Connect the two included speakers to the speaker output terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (red to red, black to black) for optimal sound quality.

3. Antenna Connection
For optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception, connect the supplied wire antenna to the FM ANT terminal on the rear of the unit. Extend the antenna fully and position it for the best signal.
4. Power Connection
Plug the power cord into the AC IN socket on the rear of the unit, then plug the other end into a standard AC 230V, 50Hz wall outlet.
Operating Instructions
1. General Controls
The system can be operated using the controls on the front panel or the included remote control. The remote control offers convenient access to all functions from a distance.

2. Turntable Operation
- Open the dust cover.
- Place a record on the platter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch.
- Gently lift the tone arm and position the stylus over the desired track.
- Lower the tone arm slowly onto the record. Playback will begin automatically.
- At the end of the record, the auto-stop function will stop the platter. Manually return the tone arm to its rest.

3. CD Player Operation
- Press the CD/USB/SD button to select CD mode.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
- Place a CD (or MP3-CD) with the label side up into the tray.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray. The CD will load and begin playback.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP/SEARCH buttons for control.

4. Cassette Deck Operation
The system features two cassette decks for playback, recording, and high-speed dubbing.
- Playback: Insert a cassette into Deck 1 or Deck 2. Press the PLAY button.
- Recording: To record from radio or turntable, select the desired source. Insert a blank cassette into Deck 1. Press the RECORD button on Deck 1.
- Dubbing: Insert the source cassette into Deck 1 and a blank cassette into Deck 2. Press PLAY on Deck 1 and RECORD on Deck 2. For high-speed dubbing, activate the 'High Speed Dubbing' function if available.
5. DAB+/FM Radio
- Press the FUNCTION button to select DAB+ or FM mode.
- In DAB+ mode, the system will automatically scan for available digital stations.
- In FM mode, use the TUNING knob or buttons to manually tune to a station.
- Press the PRESET button to save or recall favorite stations.
6. Bluetooth Connectivity
- Press the FUNCTION button to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "BT" or "PAIRING".
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other device.
- Search for "Auna 388-DAB+" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
- Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly from your device to the stereo system.

7. USB/SD Playback and MP3 Encoding
- Insert a USB flash drive or SD card into the respective slot on the front panel.
- Press the CD/USB/SD button to select USB or SD mode. The system will automatically detect and play MP3 files.
- MP3 Encoding (Digitalization): To convert analog audio (from records, CDs, or cassettes) to MP3 files on a USB drive or SD card, select the desired source. Insert the USB drive/SD card. Press the RECORD button. The system will encode the audio at 128 kbps.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
2. Turntable Care
- Stylus: Clean the stylus regularly with a soft brush, brushing from back to front. Replace the stylus when sound quality deteriorates.

3. Cassette Deck Care
Periodically clean the tape heads, capstan, and pinch roller with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to ensure optimal playback and recording quality.
