Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your LED marker light:

  1. Choose Mounting Location: Select a flat, secure surface on your truck that complies with local regulations for marker light placement.
  2. Prepare Surface: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of the gasket and secure mounting.
  3. Drill Pilot Holes: Using the rubber gasket as a template, mark and drill two pilot holes for the mounting screws. Ensure the holes are appropriately sized for the provided hardware.
  4. Wire Routing: Drill a small hole for the wiring to pass through the mounting surface, if necessary. Ensure the hole is sealed after wiring to prevent water ingress.
  5. Mount the Light: Place the rubber gasket, then the LED marker light, over the pilot holes. Secure the light using the provided screws. Do not overtighten.
  6. Connect Wiring: The light features a two-wire connection. Connect the red wire to the positive (+) power source (e.g., existing marker light circuit) and the black wire to a reliable ground (-) connection on the vehicle chassis. Ensure connections are tight and protected from moisture.
  7. Test Functionality: Reconnect the vehicle's battery and test the marker light to ensure it illuminates correctly.
