Setup Instructions
- Attach Tubing: Select the appropriate hose adapter and securely attach it to the pump's outlet. Then, connect the provided 5 ft silicone tubing to the adapter. If the tubing has kinks, stretch it out and leave it on a flat surface for a few hours to restore its shape.
- Placement: Place the pump entirely into the water. The pump is designed to be 100% submerged. The strong suction cups on the bottom of the pump will help secure it to the base of your aquarium, pond, or container.
- Adjust Flow Rate: The pump is equipped with a flow valve. Locate the adjustable dial on the side of the pump (refer to image below). Rotate the dial to increase or decrease the water flow rate according to your needs. The maximum flow rate is 400 GPH (Gallons Per Hour) and the maximum lift is 6.6 ft.
- Power Connection: Once the pump is submerged and tubing is set up, plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the power cord is routed safely to prevent tripping hazards.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning is essential to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your pump. The pump features a flexible structure design that allows for easy, tool-free disassembling and cleaning.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the pump from power. Detach the front cover and impeller assembly. Rinse all components under clean water to remove any debris, algae, or mineral buildup. Use a soft brush if necessary. Reassemble the pump securely.
- Algae Prevention: If using in an outdoor setting or where algae growth is common, consider periodically cleaning the tubing and pump to prevent buildup that can reduce flow.
