Safety Information
Always prioritize safety during operation. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury, damage to the drone, or property damage.
- Flight Environment: Fly in open areas, away from people, buildings, trees, power lines, and water. Avoid flying in strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
- Line of Sight: Always maintain visual line of sight with the drone during flight.
- Battery Safety: Use only original batteries and chargers. Do not overcharge or short-circuit batteries. Discontinue use if batteries are damaged or swollen.
- Propeller Safety: Keep hands, face, and loose clothing away from rotating propellers. Ensure propellers are securely attached before flight.
- Age Recommendation: This product is not suitable for children under 14 years old without adult supervision.
- Legal Compliance: Be aware of and comply with local laws and regulations regarding drone operation.

Setup
1. Battery Charging
Before first use, fully charge the drone's battery. The charging time is approximately 270 minutes for a full charge, providing about 18 minutes of hovering flight time.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the drone battery.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power adapter (e.g., computer USB port, phone charger).
- The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (refer to charger specific instructions for light indications).
- Once charging is complete, disconnect the battery.

2. Battery Installation (Drone & Remote)
- Drone: Insert the fully charged battery into the battery compartment on the drone until it clicks into place.
- Remote Control: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert the required batteries (typically AA, not always included) according to polarity markings. Close the compartment.
3. Propeller Attachment
Ensure propellers are correctly attached to their respective motor shafts. Each propeller is marked (e.g., A or B) and must match the corresponding motor. Secure them firmly.
4. App Installation and Connection
Download the official Syma FPV app from your device's app store. This app is essential for accessing advanced features and real-time video feed.
- Turn on the drone and the remote control.
- On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "SYMA-W1PRO-XXXXXX").
- Open the Syma FPV app. The app should automatically connect to the drone and display the live camera feed.

Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Flight Checks
- Ensure batteries are fully charged in both drone and remote.
- Check that propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
- Verify that the flight area is clear of obstacles and people.
- Confirm successful connection between drone, remote, and app.
2. Calibration
Proper calibration is crucial for stable flight.
- Gyroscope Calibration: Place the drone on a flat, level surface. Follow the app or remote control instructions to perform gyroscope calibration. This typically involves moving both joysticks to a specific corner.
- GPS Calibration: For outdoor flights, ensure the drone acquires sufficient GPS satellites before takeoff. This is indicated by a solid GPS signal icon in the app.
3. Taking Off and Landing
- One-Key Takeoff/Landing: Press the dedicated one-key takeoff/landing button on the remote or in the app. The drone will automatically ascend to a safe height or descend and land.
- Manual Takeoff: Push both joysticks outwards and downwards to start the motors. Slowly push the left joystick (throttle) upwards to ascend.
- Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick (throttle) downwards to descend. Once landed, push both joysticks outwards and downwards to stop the motors.
4. Flight Modes and Features
- GPS Positioning: Utilizes GPS for stable hovering and precise positioning, especially useful for outdoor flights. This feature enables advanced functions like Return to Home.

- Return to Home (RTH): When activated, the drone will automatically return to its takeoff point. This function is also triggered automatically upon low battery or signal loss (requires strong GPS signal).
- Follow Me Mode: The drone will automatically follow the remote controller or the mobile device, keeping you in the frame.

- Headless Mode: In this mode, the drone's orientation is irrelevant; it will move relative to the pilot's position, making it easier for beginners to control.
5. Camera Operation (4K HD)
The integrated 4K camera allows for high-quality aerial photography and videography.
- Photo: Tap the photo icon in the app or press the designated button on the remote control to capture a still image.
- Video: Tap the video icon in the app or press the designated button on the remote control to start/stop video recording.
- Live FPV: The app provides a real-time first-person view from the drone's camera.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body and camera lens. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for cracks, bends, or damage. Replace damaged propellers immediately using genuine Syma parts.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not store fully charged or completely depleted batteries for extended periods. Charge them to about 50% for long-term storage.
- Motor Inspection: Ensure motors are free from debris and spin freely.
