3. Setup and Installation

Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging.
  2. Place the dispenser upright on a hard, level surface.
  3. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 4 hours before plugging it in to allow the compressor fluids to settle.

Installing the Water Bottle:

The Avalon A3BLK features a convenient bottom-loading design, eliminating the need to lift heavy water bottles.

  1. Open the bottom compartment door of the dispenser.
  2. Remove the cap from a new 3 or 5-gallon water bottle.
  3. Insert the water probe into the bottle opening, ensuring it reaches the bottom.
  4. Slide the water bottle into the bottom compartment and close the door securely.
  5. Plug the dispenser into a grounded electrical outlet.
  6. Turn on the power switches located on the back of the unit for hot and cold water functions.

4. Operating Instructions

Dispensing Water:

The dispenser offers three distinct temperature options: Hot, Cool (room temperature), and Cold.

  • Cold Water: Place your cup under the cold water spout and press the blue cold water button.
  • Cool Water: Place your cup under the cool water spout and press the light blue cool water button.
  • Hot Water (Child Safety Lock): To dispense hot water, first slide the red child safety lock button to the side, then press it down. This two-step process prevents accidental hot water dispensing.
