Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, disconnect it from your computer. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the keycaps and chassis. For deeper cleaning, use the provided keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush. Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting.
Switch Replacement
To replace a key switch, use the provided switch puller tool. Gently grip the switch and pull upwards. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the switch is properly seated to avoid bent pins.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or restart your computer.
- Backlight not working: Check if the backlight brightness is turned down. Use the control wheel or FN + Up arrow to increase brightness.
- Macro keys not recording: Refer to the detailed macro recording instructions in the software manual or the quick start guide. Ensure you are in the correct recording mode.
- Keys double-typing or not registering: This could indicate a faulty switch. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the affected switch.
