Installation Guide
The Akicon Air Switch is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps:
- Prepare Countertop Hole: Ensure your countertop has a hole with a diameter of 1-1/4 inches. A standard sink hole for a soap dispenser is suitable. The maximum countertop thickness supported is 2-1/2 inches.
- Install Push Button: Insert the antique copper sink top push button into the prepared hole on your countertop. Secure it from underneath with the provided nut.
- Connect Air Tube: Attach one end of the 6-foot air tube to the nipple on the underside of the push button.
- Connect to Power Module: Connect the other end of the air tube to the air switch port on the single outlet power module.
- Connect Garbage Disposal: Plug your garbage disposal's power cord into the single outlet on the power module.
- Plug in Power Module: Plug the power module's 3-foot power cable into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.

Operating Instructions
To operate your garbage disposal using the Akicon Air Switch:
- Ensure the garbage disposal is properly installed and connected to the air switch power module.
- Turn on the water in your sink.
- Press the antique copper push button on your countertop to activate the garbage disposal.
- Press the button again to turn off the garbage disposal.
Maintenance
The Akicon Air Switch Kit requires minimal maintenance. Keep the push button and surrounding area clean. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the finish.
Troubleshooting
Air Switch Not Working
If the air switch kit is not functioning correctly, consider the following:
- Check for Obstructions: If water or food scraps fall into the air button or tube, the kit may not work properly.
- Clean and Reconnect: Carefully remove the air button and tube, clean any debris, and then reconnect them securely.
- Verify Power: Ensure the power module is securely plugged into a working wall outlet and the garbage disposal is plugged into the power module.
