1. Important Safety Information
Please read this manual carefully before using the thermometer. Keep it for future reference.
- This thermometer is designed for measuring human body temperature from the forehead or ear, and object/room temperature.
- Do not use the thermometer for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
- Keep the device away from water and heat sources.
- Do not drop the thermometer or expose it to strong impact.
- Consult a healthcare professional if you have concerns about temperature readings or symptoms.
2. Product Overview
The CHOOSEEN No-Touch Infrared Thermometer is a versatile device designed for quick and accurate temperature measurement. It features a large display, fever alarm, mute mode, and memory recall function.

Key Components:
- Measurement Probe: Located at the top, used for sensing infrared heat.
- LCD Display: Shows temperature readings, mode indicators, and battery status.
- Measurement Button: Initiates temperature measurement.
- MODE Button: Switches between body temperature mode and object temperature mode.
- MEM (Memory) Button: Accesses stored temperature readings.
- Probe Cover: Protects the ear probe and allows for forehead measurement when attached.
3. Setup
Battery Installation:
The thermometer requires 2 AAA batteries (included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting.
- Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the thermometer.
- Insert two AAA batteries, matching the + and - indicators inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4. Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off:
Press the Measurement Button once to turn on the thermometer. It will automatically shut down after approximately 10 seconds of inactivity to conserve power.
Switching Between Celsius and Fahrenheit:
When the thermometer is OFF, press and hold the MEM (Memory) button for 5 seconds to switch between °C and °F.
Measurement Modes:
The thermometer offers three measurement modes: Forehead, Ear, and Object/Room. Press the MODE button to cycle through these options.
- Forehead Mode: With the probe cover attached, gently place the probe against the center of the forehead. Press and hold the Measurement Button, then slowly slide the thermometer across the forehead towards the temple. Release the button when you reach the temple. The reading will appear on the display.
- Ear Mode: Remove the probe cover to expose the ear probe. Gently insert the probe into the ear canal. Press the Measurement Button once. The reading will appear instantly.
- Object/Room Temperature Mode: Press the MODE button until the house icon appears on the display. Point the thermometer at the object or area you wish to measure (e.g., baby bottle, room air) from a distance of 0-1.18 inches. Press the Measurement Button. The temperature will be displayed.

Fever Alarm and Backlight:
The display backlight changes color based on the temperature reading:
- Green: Normal temperature (e.g., 99.2°F or below).
- Orange: Mild fever (e.g., 99.3°F - 100.3°F).
- Red: High fever (e.g., 100.4°F or above).

Mute Mode:
To enable or disable the beeping sounds, press and hold the MODE button for 5 seconds while the thermometer is ON. A speaker icon will appear or disappear on the display to indicate the mute status.
Memory Recall:
The thermometer can store up to 35 sets of temperature readings. To view past readings, press the MEM (Memory) button while the thermometer is ON. Each press will cycle through the stored readings.

5. Maintenance and Care
Cleaning:
Wipe the thermometer clean with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For disinfection, use an alcohol swab (70% isopropyl alcohol) on the probe and surrounding area. Do not immerse the thermometer in water or any cleaning solution.
Storage:
Store the thermometer in its portable bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the probe cover is attached when storing to protect the ear probe.
