Important Safety Instructions

Setup and First Use

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the air fryer.
2. Clean: Wash the removable fryer basket and interlayer with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate air circulation around the unit. Do not place it directly against a wall or other appliances.
4. Initial Run (Optional): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight odor may be present, which is normal and will dissipate.

Operating Instructions

The Uten Air Fryer uses 360° hot air circulation technology to cook food evenly and efficiently.

Basic Operation:

1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the fryer basket. Do not overfill the basket to allow for proper air circulation.
2. Insert Basket: Slide the fryer basket firmly into the main unit until it clicks into place.
3. Power On: Plug the air fryer into a grounded electrical outlet. The digital touchscreen will illuminate.
4. Set Temperature and Time:
   • Use the temperature control buttons (usually + and -) to adjust the desired cooking temperature.
   • Use the time control buttons (usually + and -) to set the cooking duration.
5. Start Cooking: Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cooking process.
6. Shake/Flip (Optional): For even cooking, especially for fries or smaller items, pull out the basket halfway through the cooking time and shake or flip the contents. The air fryer will pause automatically. Reinsert the basket to resume cooking.
7. End of Cooking: The air fryer will beep when the cooking time is complete and automatically shut off. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the cooked food.

Using Pre-Set Modes:

The Uten Air Fryer features 8 pre-set cooking modes for common dishes. To use a pre-set mode:

1. After placing food in the basket and inserting it, press the Menu/Mode button on the touchscreen to cycle through the available pre-sets.
2. Once the desired pre-set icon is selected, the air fryer will automatically set the optimal temperature and time for that food type.
3. Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking. You can manually adjust the time and temperature even after selecting a pre-set if needed.

The following table provides approximate cooking times and temperatures for various foods. Actual times may vary based on food quantity, size, and desired crispiness. Always ensure food is cooked to safe internal temperatures.

Care and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your air fryer.

• Before Cleaning: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Fryer Basket and Interlayer: The removable fryer basket and interlayer are dishwasher-safe. For manual cleaning, wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge. The special non-stick coating helps prevent food from bonding, making cleanup easy.
• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the surface.
• Interior: If necessary, wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
• Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the air fryer in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

• Appliance does not turn on:
