The Wuloo Solar Driveway Alarm System provides reliable outdoor motion detection and alerts. This system includes a multi-functional receiver and solar-powered motion sensors designed for long-range wireless transmission and all-weather performance.

Quick Start Guide

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for initial setup and installation of your Wuloo Driveway Alarm System.

Receiver Setup

The receiver can be powered by the included AC adapter or 3 AA batteries (not included). For safety, remove batteries when using AC power to prevent damage.
Connect the power adapter to the receiver and a power outlet.
Set the current time and alarm clock using the MENU button.
Adjust volume using the UP/DOWN buttons.
Familiarize yourself with the receiver controls:
- Screen: Displays time in standby mode; displays corresponding channel and chime in working mode.
- MUTE: Click to stop ringing; press and hold to close the bell into mute mode.
- PAIRED: Click to set the Chime for different channels; press and hold to enter pairing mode.
- UP/DOWN: In standby mode, adjusts volume; in menu mode, navigates pages.
- MENU: Press and hold for 3 seconds to open/close the receiver; click to set time and alarm clock.

Sensor Installation

The sensors are equipped with solar panels for charging. Ensure they receive adequate sunlight for optimal performance.

Step 1: Check Battery and Settings. Open the sensor unit. Check the battery connection and set the desired channel (0-8) and sensitivity level using the internal switches.
Step 2: Pair with Receiver. Press and hold the PAIRING button on the receiver for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
Step 3: Test Sensor. Shake your hands slowly in front of the sensor eye. The corresponding LED indicator will flash, and a ring voice will be heard on the receiver, indicating successful pairing.
Step 4: Charge Sensor. Fully charge the sensor before permanent installation. Sensors typically have about 20% charge upon receipt.
Step 5: Install Sensor. Rotate the screws to install the sensor in an outdoor setting where you want to detect motion. Ensure the sensor has a clear line of sight to the detection area and is positioned to receive sunlight for charging.

Operating Instructions

Once installed and paired, the system operates automatically. The sensors detect motion and transmit a signal to the receiver, which then alerts you.

Motion Detection: When a person, vehicle, or large animal moves within 30 feet of the sensor's detection zone, an alert is sent to the receiver.
Customizable Chimes: The receiver offers 36 different chimes and tones. You can assign unique chimes to different sensors (up to 8 additional sensors can be added) to identify the location of the detected motion.
Volume Control: Adjust the receiver's volume to one of 8 levels to suit your environment.
Mute Mode: Use the MUTE button to temporarily silence the alarm.
Clock and Alarm: The receiver functions as a digital clock and can be set with an alarm.

Adjusting Sensor Sensitivity

The sensor's sensitivity can be adjusted to minimize false alarms from small animals or environmental factors.

Low Sensitivity: 0-15 feet detection range. Ideal for avoiding small animals.
Middle 2 Sensitivity: 0-20 feet detection range.
Middle 1 Sensitivity: 0-26 feet detection range.
HI (Highest) Sensitivity: 0-33 feet detection range. Detects even small movements.

Expanding Your System

The Wuloo Driveway Alarm System is expandable, allowing you to add up to 8 additional sensors to monitor more areas of your property.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your system.

Sensor Battery: The solar panel keeps the sensor's rechargeable battery charged. A full charge can last up to 24 months. Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions (e.g., leaves, dirt) to maximize charging efficiency.
Receiver Battery: If using AA batteries for the receiver, replace them when the low battery indicator appears.
Cleaning: Periodically clean the sensor lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear detection and efficient charging.
Weather Protection: The sensors are weatherproof and designed to work well in rain or snow. However, extreme weather conditions may temporarily affect performance.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Wuloo Driveway Alarm System, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem	Possible Cause / Solution
Sensor not detecting motion or false alarms.	Adjust sensor sensitivity (refer to "Adjusting Sensor Sensitivity" section). Ensure sensor lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check sensor placement; avoid pointing directly at heat sources or moving objects (e.g., swaying branches). Verify sensor battery charge.
Receiver not chiming or losing connection.	Ensure receiver is powered on and not in mute mode. Check receiver's power source (AC adapter or AA batteries). Re-pair the sensor with the receiver (refer to "Sensor Installation" Step 2). Reduce distance between sensor and receiver if range is an issue (consider obstacles like thick walls).
Sensor battery not holding charge.	Ensure solar panel is clean and receives direct sunlight for several hours daily. If consistently cloudy, consider bringing sensor indoors for a full charge via USB (if applicable, check product specifications).
