• Use the tamper only when the lid is on and the blender is running, and only through the vented lid cap opening.
• Exercise caution when blending hot liquids. The vented lid cap is designed to release steam and prevent pressure buildup. Do not fill the pitcher above the 'Liquid Max' line when blending hot ingredients.
• Unplug the blender from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.

Setup

Before first use, wash all parts except the motor base in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and level surface.
2. Ensure the power cord is plugged into a 120V AC outlet.
3. Place the 64 oz pitcher onto the motor base, aligning the handle with the right side of the base. Twist clockwise until it locks securely into place.
4. Add your desired ingredients to the pitcher. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
5. Secure the pitcher lid onto the pitcher, ensuring it is tightly sealed. Insert the vented lid cap into the lid opening and twist to lock.

The vented pitcher is designed to handle hot ingredients. Always ensure the vented lid cap is securely in place to allow steam to escape. Do not fill above the 'Liquid Max' line when blending hot liquids.
