4. Operating Instructions

Preparation of Ingredients

  • Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
  • Remove any hard seeds, pits, or thick skins (e.g., pineapple skin, citrus peels).
  • Cut ingredients into pieces small enough to fit into the feed chute. For fibrous vegetables like celery, cut into short pieces (approx. 2-3 cm) to prevent clogging.

Juicing Process

  1. Plug the juicer into a power outlet.
  2. Turn the control knob to the 'ON' position. The auger will start rotating.
  3. Slowly feed the prepared ingredients into the feed chute. Use the food pusher gently to guide them down. Do not force ingredients.
  4. The juice will flow into the juice container, and the pulp will be discharged into the pulp container.
  5. Once all ingredients are processed, turn the control knob to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.

Reverse Function

If ingredients get stuck and the juicer stops or struggles, turn the control knob to the 'REV' (Reverse) position for a few seconds. This will rotate the auger in reverse to dislodge the ingredients. Then, switch back to 'ON' to continue juicing.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and prolongs the life of your juicer.

  1. Unplug the juicer from the power outlet.
  2. Disassemble the juicer in reverse order of assembly: remove the lid, then the auger, filter basket, and juicing bowl.
  3. Rinse all detachable parts (lid, food pusher, auger, filter basket, juicing bowl, juice container, pulp container) under running water immediately after use.
  4. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any pulp residue from the filter basket and other components.
  5. All detachable parts are recommended for hand washing only. Do not wash them in a dishwasher.
  6. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water.
  7. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling or storing.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Appliance does not turn on: Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and plugged into a working power outlet. Check if the safety lock is engaged (lid correctly rotated and locked).
  • Juicer stops during operation or ingredients are stuck: Use the 'REV' (Reverse) function for a few seconds to dislodge ingredients, then switch back to 'ON'. Ensure ingredients are cut into appropriate sizes and not forced into the chute.
  • Excessive pulp in juice: Ensure the filter basket is clean and not clogged. Some soft fruits may naturally produce more pulp.
  • Low juice yield: Ensure ingredients are fresh. For harder ingredients, feed them slowly. Check if the pulp outlet is clear.
  • Leakage: Ensure all parts are correctly assembled and securely locked. Check that the sealing plug is properly in place.
