4. Operating Instructions
Mode Selection:
The Fosi Audio M03 offers two operational modes: Full-Frequency Mono Amplifier (PBTL) and Subwoofer Amplifier (SUB).
- PBTL Mode (Full-Frequency Mono Amplifier): Flip the "PBTL & SUB Selector" switch to "PBTL". In this mode, the amplifier outputs the full audio frequency range, suitable for driving passive speakers or powered subwoofers.
- SUB Mode (Subwoofer Amplifier): Flip the "PBTL & SUB Selector" switch to "SUB". In this mode, the amplifier acts as a dedicated subwoofer amplifier, applying a low-pass filter to the audio signal. This mode is ideal for driving passive or powered subwoofers.

Adjusting SUB Frequency (SUB Mode Only):
When the amplifier is in SUB mode, use the "SUB Freq Control" knob to adjust the low-pass filter frequency. This allows you to fine-tune the crossover point for your subwoofer, typically between 20Hz and 300Hz, to blend seamlessly with your main speakers.
Volume Adjustment:
Use the large "VOL" knob on the front panel to adjust the output volume to your desired listening level.
5. Maintenance
- Keep the amplifier in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
- Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Ensure proper airflow around the unit to prevent overheating.
- Disconnect the power adapter from the wall outlet if the unit will not be used for an extended period.
