Controls and Indicators
- Power Button: Located on the right side of the neckband. Used for powering on/off and Bluetooth pairing.
- Volume Up/Next Track Button: Increases volume with a short press, skips to the next track with a long press.

Setup
1. Charging the Earbuds
Before first use, fully charge the Avantree NB17 earbuds. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the neckband and plug the other end into a standard USB wall charger (DC 5V/0.5-2A) or a computer USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged.
2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the earbuds are turned off.
- Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
- Search for new devices. Select "Avantree NB17" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly, and you will hear an audible confirmation.
- If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when turned on, if the device's Bluetooth is active and within range.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until the LED flashes blue and you hear an audible prompt.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3-4 seconds until the LED flashes red and you hear an audible prompt.
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology reduces low-frequency background noise, such as engine sounds, for a clearer audio experience.
- Activate ANC: Press the ANC button. The ANC indicator light will turn on.
- Deactivate ANC: Press the ANC button again. The ANC indicator light will turn off.
ANC works best for reducing consistent low-frequency background noises like airplane engines, train noise, or office hum. It may not be as effective for sudden, irregular noises or human voices.
Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Short press the MFB.
- Next Track: Long press the Volume Up button.
- Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down button.
- Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up button.
- Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down button.
Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Short press the MFB.
- Reject Call: Long press the MFB.
- Transfer Call (to phone/earbuds): During a call, long press the MFB.
Voice Assistant
- Activate Voice Assistant: Double-press the MFB to activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).
Maintenance

Troubleshooting
No Power / Cannot Turn On
- Ensure the earbuds are fully charged. Connect to a power source and check the charging indicator.
- Try a different charging cable and power adapter.
Cannot Pair with Device
- Ensure the earbuds are in pairing mode (LED flashing blue and red alternately).
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is searching for new devices.
- Move the earbuds closer to your device and away from other wireless interference sources.
- Forget/delete "Avantree NB17" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
