Mode Selection
The T2G features a 'MODE' button to cycle through different measurement modes. This button is typically located on the side of the device.

Slope Compensation Mode
This mode calculates and displays the uphill/downhill-adjusted distance, providing a more accurate "play as" distance for sloped terrain. The slope feature can be toggled on or off. When off, the device is legal for USGA tournament play.

Continuous Scan Mode
Press and hold the power button while scanning across multiple targets. The display will continuously update with distances, allowing you to quickly assess distances to various points on the course.
Target Detection Mode
This mode helps to isolate the flagstick from background objects like trees. When scanning, the rangefinder will prioritize and lock onto the closest target, typically the flag, providing a precise measurement to the pin.
Unit Measurement (Yards/Meters)
The device can display distances in either yards or meters. Refer to the in-view LCD readout for the current unit. To switch between units, typically press and hold the 'MODE' button for a few seconds, or consult the on-screen prompts.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To ensure optimal performance and clarity, keep the lenses clean. Use the provided microfiber cleaning cloth to gently wipe away dust and smudges. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
Storage
When not in use, store the rangefinder in its protective carrying case in a cool, dry place. Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent battery leakage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Battery is dead or incorrectly installed. | Check battery polarity. Replace with a new CR2 battery. |
| Inaccurate readings. | Dirty lenses, unstable aiming, or target is too far/small. | Clean lenses with microfiber cloth. Ensure stable aiming. Target must be within specified range (5-1100 yards). |
| Display is dim or flickering. | Low battery. | Replace the CR2 battery. |
| Cannot lock onto flag. | Too much background interference, or flag is beyond 300-yard range. | Ensure Target Detection Mode is active. Try scanning slowly. Ensure flag is within 300 yards. |
