4. Setup
4.1 SIM Card and Micro SD Card Installation
To install your SIM card(s) and optional Micro SD card:
- Carefully remove the back cover of the phone.
- If the battery is already installed, remove it by gently lifting it from the bottom edge.
- Locate the SIM card slots (SIM1 and SIM2) and the Micro SD card slot.

Important SIM Card Activation Note:
This is a 3G phone. Many carriers have ceased activating new SIM cards directly on 3G devices. When activating a new SIM card, do not provide this phone's IMEI number. Instead, provide the IMEI number of an older phone or any other compatible phone to activate the SIM card. Once activated, insert the SIM card into your USHINING F240 phone. It will automatically connect to the carrier's network upon powering on.

4.2 Battery Installation
After installing the SIM/Micro SD card(s):
- Align the battery contacts with the terminals inside the phone.
- Gently press the battery into place until it sits securely.
- Replace the back cover, ensuring it snaps firmly into position.
4.3 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the phone's battery.
- Connect the Micro USB cable to the charging port on the phone.
- Plug the other end of the cable into the power adapter, then into a wall outlet.
- The charging indicator on the screen will show the charging status.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.
