2. Important Safety Information

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or if return is necessary.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions within 3 feet (0.9 m) of the front, sides, and rear of the heater. Do not place on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block air vents.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords or power strips, as they may overheat and create a fire risk.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Air Choice KPT-1502M heater features two control knobs on the top panel:

• Left Knob (Mode/Oscillation): Controls the fan mode and oscillation function.
• Right Knob (Thermostat/Heat Setting): Adjusts the desired temperature and heat output.

Powering On/Off and Heat Settings

1. Turn On: Rotate the Right Knob (Thermostat/Heat Setting) clockwise from the 'OFF' position to select a heat setting. The red indicator light will illuminate.
2. Heat Settings:
   • Fan Only: Rotate the Left Knob to the fan icon for fan-only operation without heat.
   • Low Heat (750W): Rotate the Right Knob to 'I' for low heat output.
   • High Heat (1500W): Rotate the Right Knob to 'II' for high heat output.
3. Adjust Thermostat: Once a heat setting is selected, rotate the Right Knob further clockwise to increase the desired temperature, or counter-clockwise to decrease it. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
4. Turn Off: Rotate the Right Knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position. The red indicator light will turn off.

Oscillation Function

1. Activate Oscillation: With the heater powered on and a heat setting selected, rotate the Left Knob (Mode/Oscillation) to the 'OSC' position. The heater head will begin to oscillate 120 degrees.
2. Deactivate Oscillation: Rotate the Left Knob back to a non-OSC position (e.g., fan icon, 'I', or 'II' without oscillation).
